As a part of Sewa Parv, National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India @ministryofculturegoi is organising a Painting Competition and Workshop on the theme of Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 to commemorate the 75th Birth Anniversary of Hon. Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi Ji @narendramodi at the iconic location of Gateway of India, Mumbai.

Temporary Closure of NGMA Mumbai Galleries for Visitors (29th September, 2025 2:00 PM to 30th September, 2025, 2:00 PM)

It is hereby notified that the galleries of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai will remain closed for visitors from 29th September. 2025 2:00 PM to 30th September 2025, 2:00 PM on account of the Seva Parv Divas 2025 and Viksit Bharat One Day Art Painting Workshop being organized at the Gateway of India, Mumbai.

The decision has been taken to facilitate the smooth conduct of the official programme and related activities.

Inconvenience caused to visitors is regretted. Normal functioning of the Gallery shall resume from 30th September 2025, 2:00 PM onwards.

Presented by: The National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is delighted to present a landmark joint exhibition of Ratan Parimoo and Naina Dalal — two stalwarts of Baroda whose artistic journeys span more than six decades. Through the 2 parallel shows, the exhibition invites viewers to experience their distinct artistic vocabularies, their intersections, and their lifelong dedication to artmaking.
